ANALYTICAL ASSESSMENT OF FACTORS INFLUENCING THE FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN COMMERCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Keywords: Information systems, trade entrepreneurship, digital transformation, digital maturity, influencing factors, all and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), ERP, CRM, digital payments, cybersecurity resilience

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to provide an analytical substantiation of the influence of factors on the formation and development of information systems in trade entrepreneurship in Ukraine, taking into account the comparative context with the countries of the European Union. Research methodology. The achievement of the stated purpose was ensured through the use of the methods of logical generalization and scientific abstraction, structural and comparative analysis, analytical evaluation of statistical data from international and national sources, as well as the method of ranking factors according to the strength and nature of their influence. Results. It has been established that the development of information systems in trade entrepreneurship in Ukraine takes place under the influence of an asymmetric configuration of factors. The institutional and legal environment, as well as the payment infrastructure, demonstrate high rates of modernization, including the introduction of open banking and the harmonization of DESI indicators, while the actual penetration of digital solutions into SME activities remains limited. It has been proven that payment digitalization outpaces the development of internal managerial and analytical systems of enterprises, thereby generating external demand for integrated information solutions. The critical role of the кадрово-компетентнісний factor has been identified, as it turns into a key constraint on effective digital transformation due to the shortage of ICT specialists. The ambivalent nature of the security factor has been substantiated, since it simultaneously increases the costs of implementing information systems and stimulates the transition to systemic digital maturity. The conducted ranking demonstrated the dominant influence of technological and economic factors and also identified socio-organizational factors as a critical moderator of digitalization effectiveness. Practical significance of the research results. The use of the proposed analytical approaches to factor evaluation makes it possible to substantiate the priority directions for the development of information systems in trade entrepreneurship in Ukraine, in particular the acceleration of SME digitalization, the development of human capital, the integration of information systems with payment and logistics platforms, as well as the enhancement of cyber resilience of business processes, which together will contribute to the growth of productivity, resilience, and competitiveness of enterprises.
