ACADEMIC CHARITY AS AN EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR STRENGTHENING THE QUALITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN PUET
Abstract
The article is devoted to scientific approaches to revealing the essence of academic integrity as an effective tool for strengthening the quality of higher education at the Poltava University of Economics and Trade. The purpose of the article is to substantiate scientific approaches to uncovering the essence of academic integrity as an effective tool for strengthening the quality of higher education at the Poltava University of Economics and Trade. Methodology of research. The research is based on such general scientific and special methods as: scientific abstraction (to substantiate the basic conceptual apparatus); comparative analysis (when studying the evolution of approaches to revealing the essence of the concept of academic integrity); the method of induction and deduction (to establish the prerequisites for the formation of an effective tool for improving the quality of higher education); analogies (in the process of comparing existing scientific approaches); logical generalization (for the purpose of formulating conclusions based on research results). Findings. The scientific article examines the theoretical foundations of the essence of academic integrity as an effective tool for strengthening the quality of higher education at the Poltava University of Economics and Trade. It has been proven that the peculiarity of the academic integrity of the university is the synergy of such areas as: preservation and development of universal human values of higher education students and their unique abilities, maximum synchronization with professional standards and compliance with professional ethics, and a general focus on the formation of conscious citizens with national identity, patriotism and civic position of Ukraine. Effective measures are proposed that popularize academic integrity in higher education institutions and increase the institutional reputation of the university. Practical value. An innovative effective tool of a holistic university culture has been developed, aimed at strengthening the quality of higher education based on the priorities of academic integrity.
