FACTORS OF SUCCESSFUL MANAGEMENT OF INNOVATIVE PROJECTS IN HOTEL MANAGEMENT
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the key factors influencing the successful management of innovative projects in hotel management, using the example of global and Ukrainian chain hotels, with the aim of forming recommendations for improving the effectiveness of innovation implementation in the hotel industry. Research methodology. To achieve the objective, a set of theoretical and empirical methods was used to comprehensively characterize the factors of successful management of innovative projects in the field of hotel management. Analysis and synthesis were used to process scientific sources related to the theory of innovation management, hotel marketing, and project management. Systematization and classification made it possible to identify the main groups of factors that influence the success of innovative projects. Comparative analysis was used to compare approaches to the implementation of innovations in international and Ukrainian hotel chains. Case studies were used for an in-depth analysis of the practices of implementing innovative projects in specific hotel chains. Results. The study showed that innovative projects are one of the leading tools for increasing the competitiveness, adaptability, and overall efficiency of hotel businesses in a dynamic market and digital transformation. They contribute to the modernization of service processes, improvement of customer service quality, optimization of internal business processes, and implementation of new technological solutions. In the course of the study, a set of key factors determining the success of innovative project management in the hotel industry was identified and systematized. Among them, the following deserve special attention: a holistic strategic approach to project planning and implementation, clear formulation of goals, objectives, and implementation stages; thorough assessment and minimization of risks; technological and digital readiness of the enterprise; an effective system for motivating and attracting highly qualified personnel; ensuring stable financial support for innovative initiatives; and creating a favorable organizational environment and internal culture of innovation that stimulates creativity, openness to change, and continuous improvement. Practical significance of the research results. Practical application of the proposed theoretical and applied approaches and results to improve the effectiveness of innovation management in hotel businesses, ensure competitiveness, and meet the needs of modern consumers.
