FORMULATION OF STRATEGIC MEASURES TO ADAPT THE UKRAINIAN ECONOMY TO THE CRISIS CONDITIONS

Abstract

The purpose of the study. This article presents a comprehensive analysis of strategic measures for adapting Ukraine’s economy to crisis conditions, driven by war, global economic challenges, the energy crisis, and the need for macroeconomic stabilization. Amid the threats of industrial destruction, inflation risks, reduced investment, and declining export potential, the development of effective economic strategies has become a top priority for state policy. Research methodology. The study explores key directions of economic adaptation, including macroeconomic stability, industrial diversification, energy independence, digital transformation, support for small and medium-sized enterprises, and the attraction of international financial resources. Special attention is given to the innovation-driven development of the IT sector, modernization of the defense industry, implementation of alternative energy solutions, transformation of the agricultural sector, and harmonization of economic legislation with European standards. Results. The article examines critical state support mechanisms such as flexible tax policies, credit programs, public-private partnerships, and international financing, which will facilitate Ukraine’s rapid economic recovery. Emphasis is placed on the need for active implementation of digital technologies, automation of production processes, the development of the green economy, and technological innovations, which are key factors for economic resilience in the post-crisis period. Practical significance of the research results. The findings confirm that the effective implementation of the proposed strategic measures will not only minimize the impact of current crises but also establish a long-term sustainable economic model, capable of rapid adaptation within the global economic system and ensuring stable growth. The proposed mechanisms will be valuable for government institutions, economists, business analysts, international investors, financial organizations, and the entrepreneurial community.
