ANALYSIS OF THE STRUCTURE AND STATE OF THE INDUSTRIAL SECTOR OF UKRAINE
Abstract
The purpose of the article is to analyze the structure and state of the industrial sector of Ukraine in modern conditions of development.The main objectives of the study are to study the general structure of the Ukrainian industry, determine the interrelationships of the branches of the industrial complex, study key indicators of the development of the industrial sector in dynamics and describe the trends of the pre-war and post-war development of the country's industrial sector. Methodology of research. The study was carried out using structural and statistical analysis. The analytical method and the method of logical generalization were used. Findings. The development of the industrial sector is a priority area of development of the national economy and one of the key tasks of the country's leadership. Domestic industry is one of the leading sectors of the country's economy, which dominates in terms of production volumes, the cost of fixed assets and the number of employed people. The industrial sector provides other sectors of the economy with means of production, accelerates scientific and technological progress and stimulates the development of the national economy. Since the industrial sector significantly affects the socio-economic state of the country, a thorough study of this sector is an important step on the path to future changes. That is why the analysis of the structure and state of Ukrainian industry occupies one of the leading places in the system of modern scientific research and determines the need for further research on the relevant issues. The general structure of the industry has been studied, the levels of the industry have been described and the relationship between the branches of the industrial complex has been determined. Key indicators of the development of the industrial sector in dynamics have been studied: industrial output indices by main industrial groups, industrial production indices and volumes of manufactured and sold products. The trends of the pre-war and post-war development of the country's industrial sector have been determined. Practical significance of the research results. The results obtained have practical significance for further in-depth study of structural changes and the state of development of key branches of industry and determination of strategic directions for the development of the industrial complex during the post-war recovery period.
