REGIONAL AIRPORTS IN THE SYSTEM OF ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATIONS OF THE AVIATION INDUSTRY INFRASTRUCTURE
Abstract
The purpose of the article is substantiation of directions for improving regional airports in the system of economic transformations of the aviation industry infrastructure. Methodology of research. The achievement of the purpose set in the article is carried out with the help of the following research methods: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, formalization. Findings. It is shown that regional airports play an important role in the system of economic transformations of the aviation industry infrastructure, namely: market liberalization and increased aviation safety, and increased competitiveness. It is proven that during the period of global liberalization of the air transport market, Ukrainian airports are faced with an increased level of aviation danger, which requires them to adapt and improve security mechanisms. It is established that the development of regional airports will optimize transport connections, accelerate integration processes and contribute to the sustainable development of the regional and national economy. A co-competitive strategy is proposed, which consists in cooperation between regional airports with a focus on improving aviation safety and quality of service. It is proven that interaction between all Ukrainian airports and their strategic planning will significantly increase their competitiveness in the global air transportation market. The following principles are proposed as the basis for improving the activities of regional airports in the system of economic transformations of the aviation industry infrastructure: the importance of air transport infrastructure, the dependence of socio-economic development on air transport; transformational changes in the part of changing the regional air transport system. It has been proven that regional airports play an important role in maintaining aviation safety, transport connections, and economic stability during martial law. Scientific and practical recommendations have been developed for the functioning of regional airports in conditions of limited resources and increased risks. It is proposed to maintain flexibility, adapt the infrastructure of regional airports to new realities, and ensure effective coordination with government agencies and international partners. Practical value. The practical significance of the results of the scientific article lies in substantiating measures to support operational activities and ensure the security of regional airports under martial law and to intensify their activities in the post-war period.
